Hand-forged Damascus, specified to the number
Hunting, camp and kitchen knives forged from 1095 and 15N20, made to one written standard, with a free sheath and a lifetime forge warranty.
What is the knife for?
Damascus hunting knives
Drop points, clip points and skinners, each with a leather belt sheath, free with the knife.
Four steps, one written standard
Every knife is made the same way and checked against the same numbers before it ships. The pattern you see is the count of folds, not a print.
- 01

Stack and weld
Alternating bars of 1095 high-carbon steel and 15N20 nickel steel are stacked, brought to welding heat and forge-welded into one billet. The nickel steel is what shows bright in the finished pattern.
- 02

Fold and draw
The billet is drawn out, cut, restacked and welded again until the pattern runs through the steel, then forged to the blade's rough shape. Raindrop, ladder and twist patterns come from how the billet is worked at this stage.
- 03

Grind and heat treat
The blade is ground to profile, hardened and tempered, then etched so the layers show.
- 04

Handle and sheath
The handle material is fitted to the tang with pins or a bolster and finished by hand. Each knife is measured, inspected against the spec standard and packed with its sheath or guard.
Every knife, specified to the number
One written standard for steel, lengths, tang, handle fit, edge and sheath, inspected before a knife ships. Every product page shows the recorded figures for that model.

Before you order
The short answers. The policies and the care guide carry the full terms.
Contact usIs the Damascus pattern real?
Yes. Each Damascus blade is forge-welded from 1095 and 15N20 steel, drawn out, folded and etched so the layers show. A printed pattern sits on the surface and wears off; this one runs through the steel, which you can check on the spine and the edge bevel.
How long does a made-to-order knife take?
A made-to-order knife is forged for you, dispatched in about the number of days shown on its page, and delivered 5 to 8 business days after dispatch by express courier. The product page states the lead time for that model.
What does shipping cost?
Shipping is free within the United States. We ship to the United States only in our first year; the shipping policy has the delivery times.
Can I return a knife?
Yes, within 30 days of delivery, unused and in its original condition with its sheath, box and papers. We send a prepaid label; on a change of mind the $9 cost of that label is deducted from the refund. A defect is replaced free. Engraved items can only be returned if they arrive defective.
How do I care for a carbon-steel blade?
Wipe it dry after use, oil it lightly, and keep it out of the dishwasher and out of the sheath for long storage, because leather holds moisture. The care guide has the full routine and the sharpening angles.
What does the warranty cover?
Every knife carries a lifetime forge warranty on the forge welds and the handle fit, for the life of the knife, for the original owner. Wear, misuse and neglect are not covered; the warranty page has the terms.
