Orders and delivery

• Where is my order?

  The moment your knife ships, we email you a tracking link. If tracking has not moved for 5 business days, email us and we open a trace with the carrier.

• When will it arrive?

  Every knife is forged for you after you order. The product page shows the dispatch time and a delivery window. Delivery is 5 to 8 business days after dispatch by express courier, and engraving adds about 4 business days.

• Can I change or cancel my order?

  Email us right away with your order number. We can usually change an address or cancel until the order is packed. Once it has shipped, an address change is up to the carrier and its fees.

• What does shipping cost?

  Free on orders of $99 or more, $9 flat below that, to any US address, including APO/FPO. The checkout total is all you pay, with nothing to pay at the door. We do not ship outside the United States yet.

Returns, damage and the warranty

• I want to return a knife

  You have 30 days from delivery, for an unused knife with its sheath, box and papers. Email us your order number and the reason first; we reply within one business day with a prepaid label. On a change of mind, the $9 label is deducted from the refund. Engraved knives cannot be returned unless they arrive defective.

• My parcel arrived damaged, or never arrived

  Photograph the box and the knife before throwing any packaging away, and email us within 30 days of delivery. If a parcel shows delivered but is missing, give it 2 business days and check with neighbors, then email us. We replace or refund anything lost or damaged in transit.

• Something is wrong with my knife

  In the first 30 days, a defect gets a prepaid return label and your choice of a replacement or a full refund. After that, the Limited Lifetime Warranty covers the forge welds and handle fit. Email your order number with three or four photos: the whole knife from each side, a close-up of the problem, and the knife in its sheath.

• When will I get my refund?

  We check a returned knife within about 3 business days of receiving it, then refund your original payment method. Your bank takes a further 5 to 10 business days to post it. We email you at each step.

Choosing, engraving and care

• Which knife or size is right for me?

  Tell us what you will use it for (deer, elk, camp, the kitchen) and your hand size, and we will suggest two or three. The size guide shows which lengths suit which jobs.

  Engraving is $19 a surface on the blade, the sheath or the handle, chosen on the product page. We cut exactly what you type, so check the spelling: an engraved knife cannot be returned unless it arrives defective.

  Dry it after use, oil carbon steel and Damascus, never the dishwasher, and store it out of its sheath. The care guide covers every steel, handle and leather.
